Job Description
The Director of Supply Chain Management is responsible for optimizing business results in 4 areas: milk supply logistics, milk supply utilization, product inventory management and customer order fulfillment. The Director’s team is responsible for working closely with farm production, plant manufacturing and sales teams to plan and coordinate execution of all activities involved. This role supervises the managers of the Customer Logistics and Utilization departments. It also must meet customer service standards and cost control expectations through effective and continuous scenario planning and process improvement.

NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Bonus Plan at 30% target level

Requirements
• Long and short-term planning of milk uses that result in the highest value of materials while continuously balancing the needs of customer fulfillment, farm milk production & plant processing operations. Partners with the farm, plant and sales teams to plan and schedule weekly production, milk utilization plans, and monitor the performance of actual versus planned production. • Coordination of and accountability for 3rd party co-packers & vendors to include production, inventory planning and manufacturing performance evaluation. • Optimizing inventory levels by balancing supply and demand for all products. Oversight for business relationship with 3rd party cold storage providers. • Ensures order fulfillment resources and capabilities sufficient to maintain customer satisfaction at a high level. Provide problem solving and relationship management for team members, key customer contacts and vendors / service providers. Coordinate with Finance and Sales teams to resolve payment deductions from customer invoices. • Ensure cost efficiency and reliability in milk hauling, product logistics and order delivery activities. Provide ongoing measurement & evaluation of effectiveness. • Additionally this position will be responsible for ongoing reporting and analysis of operating activity metrics, regulatory reporting and filings, leadership of the logistics and utilization teams and preparation of annual budgets and strategic planning materials. • Actively participate in design and implementation of Supply Chain process information system to provide timely data, support financial reconciliation, improvement tracking and decision making.
