Job Description |
 |
Supervise and facilitate all aspects of plant sanitation efforts. This will involve both administrative / supervisorial functions (coordination of schedules, etc.), as well as 'rolling up your sleeves' and getting involved in hands on aspects of sanitation and cleaning. In short, you will be closely involved in assisting the management team in achieving the highest levels of cleanliness, and quality. - Comply with, understand, and enforce all company policies and standards. Safety, Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.
- Coordinates sanitation program to assure the facility, equipment, and grounds meet or exceed Occupational Safety and Health (OSHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Georgia Department of Agriculture regulatory requirements and American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards.
- Must be knowledgeable in areas of chemical usage within a Food Manufacturing facility.
- Training of employees on proper chemical handling & cleaning procedures
- Knowledge of proper Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) use as it applies to chemical usage.
- Ensures sanitizing chemicals, safety equipment, power equipment and manual tools are being used correctly and safely.
- Maintains master sanitation schedule.
- Maintains adequate inventory of sanitation chemicals and supplies.
- Updates and maintains concentration log.
- Updates and maintains sanitation cleaning procedures.
- Updates and maintains Sifter tailings and inspection documentation
- Coordinates and verifies cleaning responsibilities for both Sanitation and Production employees.
- Must have working knowledge of all production equipment and the ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment in sanitary manner.
- Responsible for leading and directing employees with their daily job assignments.
- Perform Pre-Op inspections on all equipment inclusive of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence swabbing, to verify cleaning effectiveness, sign-off and release back to Production.
- Conduct GMP FOOD SAFETY – SAFETY – SECURITY / RISK SELF INSPECTION AUDIT with Management team along with Plant and provide Corrective Action support.
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissors lift, and power jack
- Other duties and projects as assigned or directed.

Requirements |
 |
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) The position is responsible for the effective cleaning and maintaining of the entire facility and grounds
- A team player with good organizational & analytical skills.
- Must be results-driven with good interpersonal skills
- 2 - 4 years of supervisory experience within the food industry
- B.S. degree preferred or applicable food plant experience.
