Job Description |

Mechanical engineer required for New York based design, consulting, manufacturing firm focused on production system layout and component manufacturing for the food, snack, dairy, beverage and industrial marketplace. The firm works with both small and Fortune 500 companies to provide innovative solutions for production line extensions, improvements and ground up conveyor systems. Each project is customized to fit the specific client requirements. Design experience with material handling equipment, integration of downstream equipment, design experience with lane dividers, conveyor systems of all types and ability to create solutions for complex systems.

Requirements |
|
|
Individual must be a team oriented, innovative thinker - someone that can "think out of the box". This person should have ground up knowledge of production systems with experience gained in a similar business. Experience working with sales, operations and clients to produce a quality - solutions driven product. Experience should include SolidWorks, AutoCAD, testing and validation, product development, concept design, machine design, supporting manufacturing and prototype testing. Dairy experience a big plus.
